ESTERO, FL. – The Florida Everblades acquired defenseman Troy Murray from the Allen Americans in exchange for future considerations.
Murray, 29, is entering his seventh year in professional hockey, where he has played in the FPHL, SPHL, ECHL, and AHL. Last season, the Toronto native played 21 games for Allen, scoring one goal in that time, as well as dressing in two games for the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds. The left-shot defenseman has played 30 total ECHL games with the South Carolina Stingrays and Americans.
