ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades have acquired forward Robert Orr from the Trois-Rivières Lions in exchange for future considerations.
Orr, 23, is starting his professional career after finishing his college career with the University of Prince Edward Island last season. The Montreal native totaled 17 goals and 14 assists over 30 games in his final season.
Before College, Orr played junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the Halifax Mooseheads, Gatineau Olympique, and Acadie-Bathurst Titan. In 2021, the left-shot forward was drafted in the fifth round of the NHL Entry Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes.
