ESTERO, FL – The Florida Everblades announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Jeff Silengo for the 2014-15 season
Silengo, 24, joins the Everblades after registering 15 points (8g, 7a) in 35 games played at the University of New Hampshire last season. The 6-1, 179-pound forward collected 39 points (15g, 24a) during his four-year collegiate career with the Wildcats.
“Jeff is a reliable two-way forward,” said Everblades Head Coach Greg Poss. “He had a solid collegiate career at New Hampshire.”
Prior to college, the Madison, Connecticut native posted 16 points in 55 appearances with the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL during the 2009-10 season.
Silengo becomes the ninth player to agree to terms with the Everblades for the 2014-15 season. He joins fellow forwards Mitch Wahl, Chris Kushneriuk, Kyle Stroh, Alex Lavoie, Mike Cichy, and defensemen Mike Little, Jordan Henry, and Kevin Hart.
The Everblades open the 2014-15 season on Friday, October 17 against the South Carolina Stingrays.
