Everblades Announce Free Agent Camp

Florida Everblades Free Agent Camp August 8-10, 2014

The Florida Everblades Professional Hockey Club are holding a Free Agent Camp for players that are looking to take their game to the Professional Ranks. The Florida Everblades have a long history of Winning and Player Advancement. Many alumni have gone onto careers in the NHL, AHL and top leagues throughout Europe. The Florida Everblades Coaching staff will be overseeing the camp and selecting Players that they will look to sign as Free Agents. A minimum of two players will be invited to attend the Florida Everblades training camp. Players will participate in (1) 90 minute high-tempo Practice and (3) Live Scrimmage Games. All players are expected to come in camp in top physical shape and be prepared to compete for a position. Be A Part of tradition that is Florida Everblades Hockey.

Tryout Format

• Friday, August 8th: 90 minute practice
• Saturday, August 9th: 2 scrimmage sessions
• Sunday, August 10th: 1 scrimmage session
• A minimum of 2 players will be invited to the 2014 Florida Everblades Training Camp
• The Florida Everblades staff will be evaluating players and inviting players to training camp.  In addition, all Southern Professional Hockey League teams and Federal Hockey League teams will be provided scouting reports and player recruitment information to those who will not be making the final selection.
• Everblades staff and coaches to mentor and evaluate talent

Cost: $300.00 per player

Includes: Camp fee, free agent camp jersey & workout shirt (hotel & meals not included)

Free Agent Camp Itinerary

Friday, August 8th

• 6:00-7:00pm (Check-In)
• 7:00-7:30pm (Welcome & Introductions)
• 8:30-10:30pm (High Tempo Practice)

Saturday, August 9th

• GAME 1: 2:25-4:15pm
• Facility Tour and Coaches Talk
• GAME 2: 7:45-9:45pm

Sunday, August 10th

• GAME 3: 9:00-11:00am
• Player will be notified within 48 hours of invitation to the Everblades Training Camp

Camp Notes

• The Florida Everblades have the right to make the final decision on the Free Agent Camp roster based on number of players signed up at each position.
• Final camp information with hotel options will be sent after the registration period is complete.
• Each player MUST have a full set of equipment including a mouth guard and a helmet with a visor. You will not be permitted on the ice if you do not have these.
• NOTE: All players must have proof of their own health insurance carrier in the US for this camp, ex - Blue Cross, Blue Shield, etc...)
