ESTERO, FL –: Tonight the Everblades and Stingrays will meet for the ninth and final time this season, and the season series which is tied at four games apiece, will be decided today.
Florida picked up an impressive 4-0 victory over the Stingrays last night. Trevor Cann earned the win, stopping all 23 shots faced. Defenseman Rob Kwiet finished the game with three assists and a +3 rating.
The Everblades remain in ninth place of the Eastern Conference, and continue to push for one of the top eight spots in the playoff race. Sixth place Greenville (83 pts) can clinch a playoff spot if the Everblades lose today. The seventh place Wheeling Nailers (82 pts) can clinch a berth in the playoffs if the Everblades lose in regulation today.
