Estero, FL – The Florida Everblades announced Wednesday that forward Maxime Langelier-Parent has been reassigned to the team from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.
Parent, 26, played two games in October for the Blades, scoring a goal on opening night against Orlando.
After rehabilitating from an injury suffered in the second game of the season, the McGill University alum was called up to the Crunch, where he posted four assists in 15 AHL appearances.
On the ice, the Blades strike out on a three-game divisional road trip starting Friday with a 7:05 date at North Charleston Coliseum against the division-leading South Carolina Stingrays.
Friday’s top-two South showdown will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades’ app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 6:50pm.
