Estero, FL – The Florida Everblades announced Sunday that forward Danick Gauthier has been reassigned to the club from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.
Gauthier, 22, had six points (3g, 3a) in six appearances earlier this season with the Blades before a November call-up to Syracuse.
In 11 career games played with Florida, the Waterloo, Quebec, native has six goals and six assists. Before turning pro for the 2012-13 campaign, Gauthier played four seasons of major junior hockey in the QMJHL—winning the prestigious Memorial Cup in 2011 with the St. John Seadogs.
On the ice, the Everblades return to Southwest Florida to open a four-game homestand with a 7:30pm Friday showdown with the first-place South Carolina Stingrays at Germain Arena.

Friday’s top-two South Division clash will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades’ app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 7:15pm.
