Estero, FL – The Florida Everblades will open their second-longest home stand of 2013-14 Wednesday at Germain Arena when they host the Greenville Road Warriors at 7:30pm.
Florida will be looking to bounce back after a 0-3 road trip to South Carolina and Orlando the previous weekend that dropped them into a second-place tie in the South Division with the surging Solar Bears.
Blades blueliner Joe Stejskal is on a career tear, compiling nearly half of his season-total 11 points on his current five-game point streak (1g, 4a).
Greenville enters Wednesday as winners of six of their last nine games, a stretch that has pushed the fourth-place Warriors over .500 for the first time since Halloween and pulled them within one point of a playoff spot in the tight Eastern Conference race.
Pacing Greenville’s offense of late is Mike Marcou, who has two goals and four assists in his last four contests.
Wednesday’s game will be “Two-Dollar Wednesday,” with $2.00 hot dogs, Budweiser drafts and Barefoot Wines.
Tickets are now on sale at the Capital Bank Box Office, open Monday through Friday, 10:00am until 6:00pm.
