Estero, FL – The Florida Everblades announced Friday that winger Brandon MacLean has been returned from a loan to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League while the Charlotte Checkers—an AHL affiliate of the Blades—have assigned forward Sean Dolan to the club.
MacLean returns to the Blades after a seven-game stint with the Americans, in which he scored one goal. Hailing from Burlington, Ontario, the 26-year-old started the season as an assistant captain and returns as the team’s second-leading active scorer (10g, 18a).
Dolan, a 25-year-old native of Chesterfield, Mo., has three assists in 19 games played this season with the Checkers.
“Sean is a big, talented forward,” commented Everblades head coach Greg Poss. “Having him and Brandon on our roster this weekend will give us some much-needed depth up front.”
On the ice, the Blades will face the Greenville Road Warriors at Germain Arena Friday at 7:30pm.
Tickets are now on sale at the Capital Bank Box Office, open Monday through Friday, 10:00am until 6:00pm.
