Orlando, FL – The Florida Everblades will close out 2013 with a rivalry matchup as they return to central Florida to take on the Orlando Solar Bears at 7:00pm at the Amway Center.

It’s a rematch of their Saturday contest, which saw the Blades score back-to-back unanswered goals in the third period to claim a 3-2 win, snapping Florida’s short two-game losing streak.

Jordan Henry provided a big spark in his return to the Blades’ roster Saturday after missing the previous week: scoring the game-winning goal in the third for Florida and providing steady defense with a plus-one rating on the night.

Since the weekend clash, the Blades have continued to restock the roster, with defenseman Mike Little reassigned to the club from Norfolk of the AHL and former Bakersfield forward Parker Stanfield agreeing to contract terms—both on Monday.

Orlando continued to see player turnover in the interim, as goaltender John Curry returned to the Bears from Iowa of the AHL while blueliner Colton Jobke was called up to the Wild. League-leading goal scorer Mickey Lang was acquired from the Fort Wayne Komets in a trade by the Solar Bears late Saturday and is available for Orlando Monday.

Monday’s calendar-year wrap-up will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades’ app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 6:45pm.
