Estero, FL – The Florida Everblades announced Monday that goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis has been reassigned to the team by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Gudlevskis, 21, started the year with the Everblades, going 2-0-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA in two starts before the Lightning assigned him to the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch. The native of Aizkraukle, Latvia, won all four of his starts with the Crunch, posting a .924 SV% and a 1.92 GAA.
The Blades now embark on a three-game divisional road trip, starting Thursday with a 7:05pm date with the defending South Division champion Gwinnett Gladiators at The Arena at Gwinnett Center.
Thursday’s Florida-Georgia throwdown will be broadcast locally on FOX Sports Radio 1350 AM and worldwide online on America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 6:50pm.
