Estero, FL – Fresh off consecutive losses in regulation for the first time all season, the Florida Everblades will look to get back in the win column Saturday when they host the Orlando Solar Bears for the last contest of a three-game series at 7:00pm.
Orlando edged the Blades 2-1 both Thursday and Friday, shutting down the Blades’ league-leading offense with stifling neutral zone play.
Mathieu Roy has provided all the offense for Florida so far this week, notching a power play goal Thursday and an even-strength marker Friday. He is averaging more than a point per game with nine total points (5g, 4a) in eight appearances.
Goalie Garret Sparks has been dominant in net for Orlando the past two nights, making 62 saves on 64 shots to win his first two games in net for the Solar Bears.
