Estero, FL – The Florida Everblades will open up a three-game home stand with a rematch of the 2013 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals when they host the Elmira Jackals for a 7:30pm showdown at Germain Arena.
Florida claimed last spring’s playoff meeting—their second straight year eliminating Elmira—winning the heated best-of-seven series against the Jackals 4-2.
Wednesday will mark the return of Blades captain and 2012-13 ECHL top scorer Mathieu Roy, who missed the start of the year recovering from off-season surgery.
It will be a matchup of contrasting styles, as the Everblades have the second-most goals in the ECHL at 33 while the Jackals are third defensively in the league, allowing just 12 goals so far.
Tickets are now on sale at the Capital Bank Box Office at Germain Arena, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Wednesday’s interdivision tilt will be broadcast locally on FOX Sports Radio 1350 AM and worldwide online on America ONE, the official internet television provider for the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 7:15pm.
