Estero, FL – Looking to bounce back from their first road loss of 2013-14, the Florida Everblades continue a three-game divisional road trip Friday with a 7:05pm rematch with the Gwinnett Gladiators at The Arena at Gwinnett Center.
Thursday the Gladiators dealt the Blades their third consecutive defeat, hanging on for a 5-4 win in a back-and-forth battle.
One night after surrendering five goals on the road, the Florida defense will be tested following call-ups to the AHL for blueliners Jordan Henry and Mike Cornell, who led the team’s defensive unit in scoring and plus/minus, respectively.
Gwinnett has won two games in a row for the first time all season and three of their last four to pull into a fourth-place tie with the Greenville Road Warriors.
Friday’s grudge match will be broadcast locally on FOX Sports Radio 1350 AM and worldwide online on America ONE, the official internet television provider for the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 6:50pm.
