Blades Release Nine from Training Camp

Estero, FL – With 2013-14 Training Camp now in the rear-view mirror, the Florida Everblades announced nine players have been released from the roster in preparation for Friday’s home opener.

Of the nine, six players were released from tryout agreements: forwards Joe Caveney, Marc Senecal and Steve Mason; along with defensemen Ladislav Hruska, Zack Josepher and Harry Radovich.

Forwards Josh Geary and Evan Chlanda were released from ECHL contracts.

Also released was forward Will MacDonald, who was unable to participate in training camp due to injury.

The Everblades open the 2013-14 campaign at Germain Arena on Friday, October 18, with Black Out Night against the Orlando Solar Bears.  Individual game tickets are now on sale at the Capital Bank Box Office at Germain Arena, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
