ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades announced Thursday that goaltender Pat Nagle has been recalled by their American Hockey League affiliate the Syracuse Crunch.
Nagle, 25, has posted a 5-5-0-1 record in 12 games with the Everblades this season, recording a 3.47 GAA and a .887 save percentage.
The 6-1, 180-pound goaltender appeared in 39 games last season with Florida, earning a record of 20-14-3, with a 2.87 GAA and .905 save percentage. The Bloomfield, MI native appeared in six playoff games recording a 1.42 GAA and .941 save percentage to help lead the ‘Blades to a 2012 Kelly Cup Championship last spring.
Nagle set several school records during his four-year collegiate career at Ferris State University (2007-2011). He was named a candidate for the Hobey Baker Award, which is awarded to the top player in the NCAA.
Florida battles Orlando at Germain Arena on Friday, December 21st at 7:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m.
