Tonight marks the first of five straight games that the Everblades will play against East Division foes.   Florida will entertain the Jackals again on Saturday, before traveling to Norfolk, Virginia next week for a three-game set against the Admirals.Last Time Out: Florida took a 1-0 lead heading into the third period of Wednesday’s game against Orlando, but the Solar Bears scored two goals in a 21-second span to take a quick 2-1 edge.  Garrett Sparks was stellar down the stretch, turning aside several quality scoring chances by the Everblades.  Orlando eventually added two empty-net markers to preserve the 4-1 win…Elmira blasted Adirondack 8-0 on Tuesday, while Alan McPherson finished the game with four points (1g, 3a).  C.J. Motte stopped all 28 shots to earn his second shutout of the season.

About the Everblades:  Wednesday’s loss to Orlando marked the first time this season the Everblades lost a game when taking the leading into the third period.  Florida was 23-0-0-0 when leading after two periods heading into Wednesday’s contest…Matt Willows continues to lead the way for Florida with 41 points (16g, 25a), while ranking second in the league among all rookies…Anthony Peters is once again expected to start in goal for Florida tonight.
