Florida enters the week atop the South Division and holds a five-point lead over the second place Atlanta Gladiators.  The Everblades are unbeaten in their last four games (3-0-0-1) and are 7-2-0-1 in the last ten.  Brampton sits in fourth place in the North Division but is unbeaten in its last three games (1-0-1-1).

Last Time Out: Brant Harris scored halfway through the third period to tie the game at one, but the Everblades eventually fell to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in the overtime shootout by a 2-1 count Saturday evening.  Despite the shootout loss, the Everblades captured five of a possible six points during the three-game road trip in Greenville….Brampton’s Chris Auger scored twice and added an assist to help lead the Beast to an impressive 7-2 home win against Kalamazoo on Sunday.

About the Everblades:  Rookie Matt Willows continues to the lead the Everblades in scoring with 33 points…Forward Brant Harris has registered a goal in three of the last four games, while Kevin Lynch has recorded a point in five of the last six contests…Goaltender Anthony Peters will make his eighth consecutive start tonight, and was named a runner-up for the ECHL Goaltender of the Week Award yesterday after posting a 2-0-1 record last week against Greenville.

Brampton will start the week without its leading scorer Brandon Marino (34 points), who was loaned to Utica of the American Hockey League on Tuesday. However, the Beast did receive the services of  forward Tim Bozon who returned from the St. John’s IceCaps of the AHL yesterday…..Former Everblades captain Jordan Henry is currently a member on Brampton’s roster, but will not play this week due to an injury….Goaltender Trevor Cann, who played for the Everblades during the 2013-14 season has been the Beast’s top netminder this season and is expected to play this week.
