When the Everblades score their first goal, you can throw the teddy bears onto the ice to celebrate, We will round up all of the teddy bears and stuffed animals  and distribute them to local children's charities for the holidays...Beginning at 5:00 p.m. we will have the tailgate party featuring live music along with bounce houses and face painting for the kids!...There will also be a skate with the Everblades players and Santa following the game. Fans are encouraged to bring their own skates if they have then, but there will be a limited number of skates available for rent on a first-come-first-serve basis.About Tonight’s Game: The Everblades will be looking for their fourth straight win this evening, while the Royals will be looking to snap at three-game winless streak.  Florida currently sits atop the South Division and the Eastern Conference with 36 points in the standings.

About Friday’s Game: The similarities between Wednesday and Friday’s games were nearly a carbon copy.  On Wednesday, the Royals took a 2-0 lead into the third period, but the Everblades scored twice to tie the game to force overtime and eventually win in the shootout.  On Friday, the roles were reversed, as the Everblades took a 2-0 lead into the final stanza of regulation, but this time the Royals scored twice in the third to force overtime. However, the Everblades prevented a similar outcome from occurring, as Mark Nemec scored the game-winner just 31 second into the extra session to seal a 3-2 victory.  Nemec finished the night with a three points (1g, 2a) and had a hand on each Everblades goal scored in the contest.

About the Everblades:  Rookie Matt Willows collected the lead assist on last night’s game-winning overtime goal. Willows has recorded 26 points this season which is good for fourth best overall in the ECHL… Daniel Altshuller is expected to start in goal this evening for Florida.  The second-year pro is ranked second in the league with a 1.54 goals-against-average…Defenseman Rob Florentino is eligible to return to the lineup this evening having served his five-game suspension for leaving the bench in an altercation at Colorado on November 28.  The return of Florentino will give the Everblades a full complement of blueliners for the first time in three games.

About the Royals:  Forward Justin Crandall has recorded at least one point in nine of the last ten games, and is tied for second amongst rookies with 24 points…Adam Comrie continues to remain tied for first in scoring for league defensemen with 20 points…Robbie Czarnik leads the Royals with six power play goals which is good for second most in the league.
