College students receive a $5 ticket with free parking with valid college ID. About Tonight’s Game: With heated battles last season as division foes, and a hard-fought seven-game second round playoff series in 2013, the two clubs have displayed some dislike for one another over past couple of years which has translated into a bit of a rivalry.  The Everblades continue to hold the top spot in the South Division, just four points ahead of second place South Carolina. The Royals currently sit fourth in the East Division.

Last Time Out: The Everblades wrapped up a six-game western conference road swing with a gutsy 3-1 victory at Idaho on Saturday.  Matt Willows scored twice for Florida, while Anthony Peters was stellar in goal making 33 saves.  The ‘Blades finished the 12-day road trip with a 4-2 mark….The Royals dropped a 4-2 decision at Manchester on Sunday.  Despite grabbing the first goal of the game, the Royals surrendered two power play tallies in the loss.

About the Everblades:  Matt Willows leads all ECHL rookies in scoring with 25 points (10g, 15a), which is also good for fourth overall in the league.  Willows recorded his third two-goal performance of the season in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Idaho.  He also enters tonight’s game riding a six-game point streak (5g, 3a) which began back on November 30…With a suspension to Rob Florentino and recent injuries to Matt Stanisz (21-Day IR) and Justin Agosta, Florida entered the week with just four active defensemen. However, the Everblades did receive some help on the backend on Tuesday with the addition of rookie Tyler Ganly who was assigned to the team from the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL…Daniel Altshuller will start in goal tonight for Florida. Last week, Altshuller was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Month for November.

When the Everblades score their first goal, you can throw the teddy bears onto the ice to celebrate! We will round up all of the teddy bears and stuffed animals  and distribute them to local children's charities for the holidays.   Beginning at 5:00 p.m. we will have the tailgate party featuring live music along with bounce houses and face painting for the kids!
