ESTERO, FL – The Annual IBERIABANK Teddy Bear Toss game is set for this Saturday (December 12) at 7:00 p.m. at Germain Arena when the Everblades battle the Reading Royals.
Fans are asked to bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to Saturday’s game. When the Everblades score their first goal, fans may toss the teddy bears out onto the ice to celebrate. The teddy bears and stuffed animals will be collected and distributed to local children’s charities across Southwest Florida for the holiday season.
Last year, the team collected and distributed nearly 7,000 teddy bears to local charities, including the Golisano Children's Hospital.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid missing the potential first goal to spark this great event! The Everblades Tailgate Party will take place outside of the arena from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The tailgate will feature live music, as well as face painting and bounce houses for the kids!
Following the game, fans are welcome to take part in a postgame skate with the Everblades players and Santa! Skate rentals will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Fans are welcome to bring their own skates as well.
