About Friday’s Game: Florida’s Gabriel Desjardins scored just 90 seconds into the contest to put the Everblades on top early. However, the Nailers scored on each of their first three shots of the game to take a 3-1 advantage. Florida attempted to catch up, but could never gain the edge.  The Everblades posted a season high 51 shots in the game, but Wheeling netminder Brian Foster made 48 saves to preserve the 5-3 victory.  The Everblades posted 24 shots in the first period which was the same number of shots that Wheeling posted for the entire game.    Shots:  FLA – 51  WHL – 24

About the Everblades:  Brant Harris continued his torrid scoring pace last night with a goal in the third period.  Harris is second in the ECHL in goals scored with nine, and has recorded a goal in five of the last six games, posting six goals during this stretch…Newcomer Jordan Ciccarello made his Everblades debut last night. Ciccarello joined the ‘Blades yesterday from Louisiana of the SPHL, but attended the Everblades training camp in 2014..

When the Everblades score their first goal, you can throw the teddy bears onto the ice to celebrate! We will round up all of the teddy bears and stuffed animals  and distribute them to local children's charities for the holidays.   Beginning at 5:00 p.m. we will have the tailgate party featuring live music along with bounce houses and face painting for the kids!
