About Tonight’s Game: The Everblades (11-4-0-0, 22 pts) enter tonight’s contest riding a five-game winning streak, and sit atop both the South Division and Eastern Conference standings.  The Nailers (7-5-1-0, 15 pts) make their first trip to Germain Arena since November of 2011, and will be looking to extend their unbeaten streak to four games tonight.   The Nailers currently rank first in the North Division.

Last Time Out: Daniel Altshuller stopped all 21 shots faced to lead the Everblades to a 3-0 victory over the Idaho Steelheads Saturday Night at Germain Arena…Wheeling’s Riley Brace scored twice to lift the Nailers to a 4-2 home victory over the Evansville IceMen at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia on Sunday.

About the Everblades:  On Sunday, forward Mike Aviani was loaned to the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League. Aviani had shared the team lead in scoring (15 pts) with Matt Marquardt and Matt Willows and boasted a team best eight goals this season…Despite losing a forward, the Everblades gained one right back with the addition of Carter Sandlak, who was assigned to the team on Monday from the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers. The 6-2, 205-pound forward posted three points in three appearances with the Everblades last season. In addition, Sandlak recorded four points with 69 penalty minutes in 44 games played with Charlotte last year… The Everblades special teams have been special through the first 15 games of the season.  Heading into tonight’s game, the Everblades sport the league’s top power play (28.6%) and top penalty kill (91.9%).

About the Nailers:  Forward Jarrett Burton is tied for second in the ECHL with eight goals, and is tied for the team lead in scoring with Riley Brace (13 points).  Brace reached the 100-point plateau in his career last Friday against the Reading Royals  Brace is the cousin of former Everblades forward Adam Brace…Goaltender Franky Palazzese is 5-2-0-0, and is ranked 14th in the league with a 2.44 goals against average
