What started out in favor of the Everblades quickly turned into the Stingrays show. The Stingrays were able to score three goals in the second period to put the score at 3-1. Then in the third, the Everblades pulled within one when Brant Harris scored a shorthanded tally,  but the Stingrays added an empty net goal to take the game 4-2.

Friday, October 30: Florida2  vs. South Carolina  0Anthony Peters stopped all 22 shots faced to earn his second career shutout.  After two scoreless periods, the Everblades were able to break through the Stingray defense on a Justin Agosta power play goal. Matt Marquardt put the finishing touches on the game with an empty net goal with four seconds left to blank the Stingrays 2-0, the first time this season the Everblades were able to shut out an opponent.

Sunday, November 1: Florida – 7 at Greenville – 0 The Everblades started their lengthy road trip off with a bang Sunday afternoon blanking the Swamp Rabbits 7-0. The Everblades posted their second consecutive shutout victory in the win over the Swamp Rabbits thanks in part to Mike Aviani, who had a career high four points (2 goals, 2 assists) in the game. Daniel Altshuller stopped all 31 shots he faced to take home the victory.‘Blades Bites

  • Despite posting a 1-1 record on the week, Daniel Altshuller pieced together five periods of shutout hockey in two appearances.  Altshuller earned his second career shutout on Sunday making 31 saves, His first shutout came in Game 6 of the Eastern Division Semifinals against Orlando last spring.
  • Anthony Peters posted his second career shutout on Friday against South Carolina on Friday.  His first shutout came last spring in his pro debut on March 7 at Greenville.
  • The Everblades have recorded at least one power play goal in eight of their nine games played this season.  Wednesday's loss to South Carolina Was the first time the 'Blades failed to score a PPG.  Florida leads the league with 10 power play gaals scored this season.
  • Three of Justin Agosta's four goals scored this season has come on the power play.
  • Maxime St-Cyr made his pro debut in last Wednesday’s game (Oct. 28) against South Carolina and recorded his first professional goal on his the first shot taken in his career.
