About the Everblades: After the first night of play in the ECHL, center Kevin Lynch is tied for the league lead in scoring with three points (1g, 2a)… Goaltender Anthony Peters is expected to start in goal tonight for the Everblades.  Peters was 2-0-0 in two appearances with the Everblades last season, including a 31-save shutout in his professional debut on March 7 at Greenville… Brendan O’Donnell scored the first goal of his professional career last night.  Counting last night’s contest and the two preseason games on October 9 & 10, O’Donnell has scored a goal in every game in which he has played at Germain Arena.

About the Gladiators:  With his team trailing 3-1 heading into the third period of last night’s game, Brock Higgs scored two power play goals to even the score and secure at least one standings point for the Gladiators. Also chipping in was forward Thomas Frazee who assisted on both of the goals scored by Higgs. Frazee was one of the many late season acquisitions by the Gladiators last March.  After failing on their first four attempts on the power play, Atlanta scored early in both of their final attempts with the man advantage.
