ESTERO, FL – The Florida Everblades have announced its initial promotional schedule and key dates for the 2015-16 season.  Additional promotions will be announced at a later date.

Opening weekend is October 16 & 17 against the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Everblades will once again open up the season with a “Black Out” and will wear special black jerseys for the two games. The first 5,000 fans to walk through the gates for the October 16 home opener will receive an Everblades magnet schedule.

November 14 is Military and Veterans Night, and once again the Everblades will be wearing military themed jerseys. The team will be honoring veterans and military personnel throughout the game.

The Annual Teddy Bear Toss will take place on Saturday, December 12.  Fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to the game.  When the Everblades score their first goal, fans may throw the stuffed toys onto the ice to celebrate.  The stuffed animals and teddy bears will be rounded up and distributed to children’s charities across Southwest Florida for the Holidays. Last year, nearly 7,000 bears were collected and distributed throughout the community.

Pink in the Rink will take place on February 27.  The Everblades players will wear special pink jerseys to help raise breast cancer awareness. The jerseys will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting local cancer charities.

March 26 marks the Annual Guns N Hoses Night.  Local law enforcement officers and local fire fighters will battle it out on the ice prior to the Everblades contest with the Greenville Road Warriors.

Fan Appreciation Night is set for April 9. Fans will receive an Everblades team photo! The player awards ceremony will also take place, along with the end of the season jersey auction.
