About Tonight’s Game:  The Everblades can clinch the East Division title with a win tonight and a Reading loss in Orlando this evening.   The Stingrays are without question the hottest team in the ECHL having won 27 of their last 28 games.  South Carolina recently put together an ECHL record 24-game win streak which was snapped at Indy last Saturday (March 28).

Last Time Out: The Reading Royals scored two third periods goals to pull away from the Everblades by a 5-3 score Friday night at Germain Arena. The Royals grabbed both meetings this week, and claimed the season series 5-1…Michal Cajovsky’s goal just 25 seconds into overtime sealed a 3-2 victory for the Stingrays over the Orlando Solar Bears last night at the Amway Center.

About the Everblades: Goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic (pronounced NUH-dell-KO-vich)will once again get the start in goal tonight for Florida.  Captain Jordan Henry had his impressive eight-game point streak snapped in last night’s loss to Reading.  Henry had posted nine points during this stretch which began back on March 5.

About the Stingrays: South Carolina leads the league with 25 road wins this season (25-8-2).  The Stingrays continue to boast the league’s top goaltending tandem with Adam Morrison (1.88 GAA) and Jeff Jakaitis (1.98 GAA) who rank first and second respectively in the league in goals against average.  Jakaitis also leads the ECHL in shutouts with six.  Wayne Simpson and Andrew Rowe share the team lead in points with 54.
