About Tonight’s Game: Tonight marks the first and only meeting between the two teams this season.   The Everblades close out their nine-game homestand this evening sitting in second place of the East Division. Florida trails first place Reading by six points. Additionally, the ‘Blades are trying to hold off the third place South Carolina Stingrays who have now won 13 straight games, and trail Florida by just three points.   Cincinnati holds third place in the North Division, and are 6-3-1-0 in their last ten games.

Last Time Out:  The South Carolina Stingrays recorded three unanswered goals in the third period to rally past the Everblades 4-3 on Saturday night at Germain Arena. Former Everblade Sean Dolan netted the eventual game-winning goal with 1:27 remaining in regulation…The Cyclones are coming off a 3-0 victory over the Orlando Solar Bears last night at the Amway Center.  Rob Madore stopped all 24 shots faced to earn his third shutout of the season.

About the Everblades:  Captain Jordan Henry has registered a goal in four of the last five games since coming off the injured reserved. Adam Brace leads the way offensively for the ‘Blades.  Brace has totaled a balanced 47 points (22g, 25a) this season.  Henry, Brace, and Mike little enter tonight having scored in each of the last two games.  Florida is 21-0-1-1 when leading after the first period in games this season.

About the Cyclones:  The Cyclones roster is comprised of a solid one-two punch in goal.  Goaltender Sam Brittain leads the league with four shutouts, while former Everblade Rob Madore has posted three shutouts of his own this season.  Madore played 14 games for the Everblades during the 2012-13 season, and was named the MVP of the Kelly Cup Playoffs last spring.  Madore will start tonight as Britain was recalled today by the Florida Panthers of the NHL.Forward Josh Shalla leads the Cyclones in points (42), goals (17), and assists (25).
