Adam Brace leads the Everblades with a team best 28 points and 14 goals.  Andy Iles is expected to start once again tonight in goal.  Iles holds an 8-2 record as an Everblade dating back to last season.  The Everblades special teams have been getting the job done lately.  Florida’s power play is ranked second overall in the league at 22.7 percent, while its penalty kill unit at home is ranked second in the league at 88.1 percent.

On Friday, Gwinnett acquired goaltender Kent Patterson from the Orlando Solar Bears in exchange for forward Marshall Everson.  Goaltender Mike Lee was recalled earlier this week to the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes.  Forward Brendan Walker leads the Gladiators in points against the Everblades with six.  Talented forward Casey Pierro-Zabotel leads the Gladiators in points (35), goals (12), and assists (23).
