The McDonald’s Tailgate Party starts at 5:00 p.m. featuring live music, bounce houses, and a rock wall to climb! About Tonight's Game:  The Everblades continue to maintain the top spot in the East Division, while Gwinnett sits in seventh.   Florida closes out its five-game homestand this evening, and tonight marks the first of three straight contests between the two teams.Last night the Tulsa Oilers ran into a Wahl, as Mitch Wahl set up all four goals scored by the ‘Blades en route to a 4-2 victory over the Oilers. Florida received a solid outing in goal from Andy Iles who improved his record to 4-1 with the ‘Blades this season.  On Sunday, Gwinnett's third period comeback bid against Fort Wayne fell just short, dropping a 4-3 decision at home. The Gladiators posted 40 shots on goal in the game

Adam Brace leads the Everblades with a team best 28 points and 14 goals.  Andy Iles is expected to start once again tonight in goal.  Iles holds an 8-2 record as an Everblade dating back to last season.  The Everblades special teams have been getting the job done lately.  Florida’s power play is ranked second overall in the league at 22.7 percent, while its penalty kill unit at home is ranked second in the league at 88.1 percent.

On Friday, Gwinnett acquired goaltender Kent Patterson from the Orlando Solar Bears in exchange for forward Marshall Everson.  Goaltender Mike Lee was recalled earlier this week to the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes.  Forward Brendan Walker leads the Gladiators in points against the Everblades with six.  Talented forward Casey Pierro-Zabotel leads the Gladiators in points (35), goals (12), and assists (23).
