ESTERO, FL-  Allen York stopped all 24 shots faced to lead the Everblades to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Orlando Solar Bears Saturday night at Germain Arena.  The Everblades (5-1-0-1, 11pts) extend their winning streak to four games, and remain atop the East Division.

The Everblades grabbed the early 1-0 advantage at 13:46 of the first period. Everblades forward Evan Bloodoff sailed through the Orlando Solar Bears defense with the help of Kevin Lynch to blaze a rebound shot past Orlando goaltender Kent Patterson.

The second period started with scoring chances by each team, but those chances were outshined by both goaltenders. That changed when Everblades forward Gabriel Desjardins lit up the lamp with just 20.1 seconds left in the second period on a nice setup pass in front by Alex Lavoie.

The Solar Bears attempted to rally back in the third period, but it was too little too late. ‘Blades netminder Allen York continued to turn aside everything the Solar Bears threw his way.

Everblades forward Kevin Lynch was able to score an empty netter with just two seconds left in regulation to seal the 3-0 victory.

The night belonged to Everblades goaltender Allen York as he recorded a shutout facing a total of 24 shots on net from the Solar Bears. Orlando’s Kent Patterson takes the loss despite a solid effort allowing two goals on 20 shots faced.  A majority of the shot were dangerous scoring chances that Patterson was able to stop to keep the game close.

The Everblades will face the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum on  November 7, at 7:30 p.m.
