ESTERO, FL – The Florida Everblades announced Wednesday that forward Jeff Costello has been reassigned to the Everblades from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, while forward Kevin Lynch has been loaned to Syracuse.  Additionally, defenseman Mike Cornell has been loaned to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.Costello rejoins the Everblades after going scoreless in two appearances during his recent call-up with Syracuse.  The 6-0, 212-pound rookie forward has made three appearances this season with the Everblades.  Costello totaled 82 points during his four-year career at the University of Notre Dame from 2010-2014.  The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native is a 5th round draft selection of the Ottawa Senators in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.Lynch heads to Syracuse having registered six points (1g, 5a) in nine games with the Everblades this season.  The Grosse Pointe, Michigan native is expected to make his AHL debut  Wednesday night when the Crunch battle the Albany Devils.  Last season, Lynch totaled 35 points in 63 ECHL games split between the Toledo Walleye and the Evansville Icemen last season.

Cornell joins the AHL’s Falcons after posting three points (1g, 2a) and a minus-3 rating in nine games played with the ‘Blades this season.  Last season, the 5-11, 190-pound blueliner appeared in 35 AHL games with Bridgeport recording ten points (4g, 6a) and 78 penalty minutes.

The Everblades open up a three-games in three-days slate on Friday at South Carolina. Game time for Friday's game is set for 7:05 pm.
