ESTERO, Fla. - The Florida Everblades are back in action at Hertz Arena with a division showdown against the Atlanta Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. on October 23 for Blackout Night presented by The Passion Foundation.
The Everblades come into this weekend off the back of two victories against the Orlando Solar Bears. Florida took game one at home 3-1, and then hit the road for a 5-1 victory in Orlando. In those two games, Florida outshot Orlando 76-36.
Now, the Everblades turn their attention to the Gladiators. Last season, Atlanta was the only team to have a winning record against the Everblades. In seven meetings, Florida’s record against Atlanta was 2-4-1. The Gladiators finished the 2025-26 season with a record of 44-23-4-1, which was good enough for third in the South Division and a playoff birth.
In the playoffs, Atlanta fell to the South Carolina Stingrays in the first round in six games.
To start this season, the Gladiators are 1-2, falling to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in their season opener before splitting a weekend series with the Norfolk Admirals.
The Everblades will look to keep their hot start rolling on Friday before they close out the weekend against Atlanta with a 7 p.m. puck drop on Saturday at Hertz Arena.
