ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades have signed forward Craig Needham to a standard player contract for the 2026-27 season.
Needham, 27, comes back to Southwest Florida for his fourth season with the Everblades. Last year, the Medford, Massachusetts local set career highs in goals (22), assists (23), and points (45) while playing in all but one game for the Blades last season. In the playoffs, Needham notched four goals with five assists over 20 games to help Florida win the Kelly Cup.
Needham has played 145 ECHL games, all with the Everblades. During that span, the center has 30 goals and 33 assists.
In college, Needham played five seasons at Providence, scoring 14 goals with 21 assists over 160 games. During his junior days, he served as the captain of the USHL’s Youngstown Phantoms.
