ESTERO, Fla. — The Florida Everblades (3-3-2-0, 8 pts.) continue a stretch of five straight games against the Jacksonville Icemen with a two-game home series this weekend on Friday and Saturday at Hertz Arena.
The Everblades earned three of four potential points against Jacksonville this past weekend, handing the Icemen their first loss of the season on Friday night before picking up a point in a 4-3 overtime loss on Saturday. Jacksonville was the only remaining undefeated team in the ECHL entering last weekend, but Florida scored twice in the first period and twice in the third period on Friday to earn the 4-2 victory.
Including the two games this weekend, Florida will face Jacksonville 11 more times this season. The ‘Blades still have not lost in regulation to Jacksonville since the Icemen joined the ECHL as an expansion franchise for the 2017-18 season. Florida holds a 14-0-2-0 record against the Icemen in 16 all-time meetings.

- Zach Nastasiuk tabbed a goal and two assists in the two games this past weekend and now has points in three straight games, a season-high.
- Jordon Southorn recorded a season-high two assists on Saturday night against Jacksonville and has an active three-game point streak.
- Goaltender Jamie Phillips yielded two goals in a 4-2 win over Jacksonville on Friday night and has yet to allow more than two goals in any of his four starts this season.
- Florida scored three times on seven power plays in the two-game series with Jacksonville, which included a season-high two conversions on Saturday night.
