ESTERO, Fla. — Following a two-game sweep of the Jacksonville Icemen at home this past weekend, the Florida Everblades (5-3-2-0, 12 pts.) embark on a season-long seven-game road trip starting with a stretch of four games in five days this week.
After earning three of four points in a two-game series against Jacksonville on Nov. 2-3, the Everblades stayed hot with a two-game sweep of the Icemen on home ice this past weekend. Florida overcame two separate deficits in the third period to win 4-2 on Friday and then tabbed six goals in the first two periods of a 6-2 win on Saturday.
The Everblades start their busiest week of the season to-do date with four games, including three against opponents they have yet to face this year. After a Wednesday matchup in Jacksonville, the ‘Blades travel to South Carolina for a Friday night tilt against the Stingrays before a two-game set against Atlanta on Saturday and Sunday.
