ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Thursday that the team has agreed to terms with forward Sam Warning for the 2018-19 season.
Warning, 25, was acquired by the Everblades from the Quad City Mallards last spring. Warning registered three goals in three regular season appearances last season with Florida while logging 31 points (16g, 15a) in 41 games played with the Mallards. In addition, Warning added 14 points (5g, 9a) in 21 postseason appearances with the ‘Blades.
The 5-10, 180-pound forward has also posted four points (2g, 2a) in 18 appearances with the American Hockey League’s San Jose Barracuda last season. Warning has totaled 116 points (56g, 60a) In 141 career ECHL games with Quad City from 2015-2018. The Chesterfield, Missouri native had a productive collegiate career at the University of Minnesota from 2011-2015, compiling 97 points (40g, 57a).

---Opening Weekend is slated for October 19 & 20 when the Everblades play host to the Norfolk Admirals at Germain Arena. The 'Blades will play a pair of preseason contests at home on October 5 & 6 against Orlando.
