About Tonight’s Game: The Everblades will open their fifth Conference Finals appearance this evening and their first since the 2012 season.  Adirondack will make its first Conference Finals appearance in club history. About the Everblades:  Forward Mitchell Heard ranks second in scoring in the playoffs with 13 points. Meanwhile Michael Kirkpatrick is second in the playoffs with seven goals....Both Heard and Kirkpatrick, along with defenseman Keegan Kanzig, all have played for the Thunder at some point during their careers....Goaltender Martin Ouellette ranks second in the playoffs with a 1.42 goals-against-average….The Everblades have outscored their opponents 16-5 at home in the playoffs.

About the Thunder:  Adirondack received a big boost to the lineup on Thursday with the addition of forward Troy Bourke, who returned to the team from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL). Bourke posted an impressive 32 points in 22 games played with the Thunder this season….Goaltender Drew Fielding has been solid in net for the Thunder throughout the playoffs.  Fielding ranks second with a 0.955 save-percentage and is coming off a 53-save performance on Monday at Manchester….Adirondack is led by former Everblades assistant coach Brad Tapper. Tapper helped guide the Everblades to their first Kelly Cup Title in 2012.
