About Tonight’s Game: Florida’s lead in the South Division is now three points following South Carolina’s win over Kalamazoo last night   The Everblades have won nine of their last ten games and are coming off a three-game sweep of the Norfolk Admirals last week.  Greenville sits seventh in the division, but earned a pair of wins last weekend against Jacksonville. The sudden resurgence could be attributed to the recent additions of several players from the collegiate level who are eager to earn a permanent roster spot. About the Everblades:  Rookie Spencer Smallman is currently riding a six-game point streak and scored his first two professional goals in Saturday’s 5-1 win over Norfolk… Additional players who extended point streaks on Saturday include Matt Berry and John McCarron who have each logged a point in five straight games…Mitchell Heard’s team high point streak ended at an impressive 11 games on Saturday.  Heard posted 22 points during that 11-game stretch, and continues to lead the team in scoring with 62 points…On Tuesday, the Everblades added forward Blake Winiecki to the roster. Winiecki joins the team after concluding his four-year collegiate career at St. Cloud State University where he posted 55 career points.

About the Swamp Rabbits:  Earlier today, the Swamp Rabbits received some help on the back end from their AHL affiliate the Hartford Wolfpack, who assigned goaltender Chris Nell to the team....Greenville has received some quality performances recently from several newcomers. Both Spencer Dorowicz and Johno May each recorded their first professional goals last weekend. May’s first tally served as the game-winning goal on Friday against Jacksonville. The 6-foot-5 forward, May, assisted on all three Greenville goals in Saturday’s victory. Robert Powers and Timmy Moore also made their pro debuts last weekend….Forward Evan Jasper overtook Caleb Herbert for the team lead in scoring last weekend. Jasper has recorded 48 points in 61 games this season.
