About Tonight’s Game: The two teams will open the first of three meetings against one another at Germain this week.  This week could serve as a make-or-break three-game set for the Admirals who sit just six points back of fourth place Atlanta (63 pts) for the final playoff spot in the South Division.  However, the Jacksonville Icemen are also vying for that final spot in the South and are tied with Norfolk with one more game in hand.  The Everblades hold a five-point lead over South Carolina for the top spot in the Division.  The Everblades saw their seven-game win streak and eight game unbeaten streak snapped on Saturday against Orlando.  Florida is 2-0-1-0 against Norfolk this season, while holding an impressive 36-7-4 mark against South Division opponents.

About the Everblades:  Forward Mitchell Heard enters tonight riding a nine-game point streak which began back on February 24. Heard has totaled 17 points during this stretch, and his streak ties a team season high set earlier this season by Michael Kirkpatrick…On Tuesday, Kirkpatrick returned to the team from Cleveland of the American Hockey League (AHL). In addition, goaltender Callum Booth has been returned to the team from the Charlotte Checkers (AHL)...Forward Stephen MacAulay leads the Everblades in scoring against Norfolk with five points (2g, 3a).
