About Tonight’s Game: Tonight’s game is the 11th game in the Wawa Sunshine Cup Series between the two intrastate rivals.  On Wednesday, the Everblades clinched the Sunshine Cup for a third consecutive season with a 4-0 victory over the Solar Bears. The Wawa Sunshine Cup is awarded to the team that finishes with the most points in the head-to-head regular season series. Florida leads the series 16 points to 6 points…The Everblades continue to hold the top spot in the South Division and overall in the league with (77 pts).  The Solar Bears currently hold the fourth and final playoff spot in the South Division with 52 pts). However, a late season push by the Norfolk (48 pts.) has the Admirals just four points back of Orlando.

About Wednesday’s Game:  Goaltender Martin Ouellette stopped all 38 shots faced to lead the Everblades to a sound 4-0 victory over the Solar Bears at the Amway Center.  Brett Bulmer, Quentin Shore and Steven Lorentz each posted multi-point games in the win.

About the Everblades:  Stephen MacAulay leads the Everblades in scoring (48 pts) and goals (22), and also leads the Everblades in scoring against Orlando with six goals and 13 points…Brett Bulmer has scored in each of the past two games, scoring a total of three goals and an assist during that stretch…The Everblades lead the league with 13 shorthanded goals….On Monday, forward Spencer Smallman and goaltender Callum Booth returned to the team from Charlotte of the American Hockey League (AHL). Booth is expected to start in goal this evening.
