ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced several roster moves on Wednesday afternoon:
- Goaltender Callum Booth has been reassigned by the Carolina Hurricanes (NHL) to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL).
- The Everblades have agreed to terms with goaltender Tyler Parks to a standard players contract (SPC).
- Forward Dave Dziurzynski has been returned to the team on loan from the Utica Comets (AHL).
Booth, 20, earns his first AHL call-up after posting a 14-5-2 record, with one shutout, a 2.53 goals-against-average and a 0.908 save percentage with the Everblades this season. The 6-3, 187-pound rookie netminder was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the fourth-round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Parks, 25, joins the Everblades as one of the top goaltenders in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) boasting a 10-3-1 record with one shutout, a 2.64 goals-against-average and a 0.918 save-percentage with the Peoria Rivermen this season. The 6-7, 215-pound netminder has also made one appearance with the Reading Royals (ECHL) this season as well.
Dziurzynski,28, returns to the Everblades where he has logged three points (2g, 1a) in 19 appearances this season. The 6-3, 218-pound forward logged two assists in 13 games during his recent call-up with Utica. Dziurzynski has totaled 129 points with 510 penalty minutes in 364 career AHL games.
