About Tonight’s Game: The two teams will open up a home-and-home set tonight, and will meet again in Jacksonville on Saturday night. About the Everblades: Another busy week of roster moves took place this week. Forward Michael Kirkpatrick earned his first career call up with the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Cleveland Monsters. Kirkpatrick was tied for the league lead in scoring with 40 points at the time of his call up. In a related move, Cleveland loaned forward Hayden Hodgson to the team, and he will make his Everblades debut tonight. The rookie forward Hodgson has recorded five points (2g, 3a) in 23 appearances with the Monsters this season. Additionally, forward Steven Lorentz has been returned to the team following a three-game call-up with the Charlotte Checkers...The Everblades enter the week as the top defensive team in the league with a 2.47 goals-against-per-game average.
