ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Friday that forward Hayden Hodgson has been loaned to the team from the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Hodgson, 21, joins the Everblades after totaling five points (2g, 3a) in 23 appearances with the Monsters this season. The 6-2, 215-pound rookie winger concluded his junior hockey career collecting 66 points (38g, 28a) with the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) Saginaw Spirit. The Leamington, Ontario native totaled 157 career points during his five-year OHL career split between the Erie Otters, Sarnia Sting and the Spirit.
Hodgson is expected to be in the lineup when the Everblades play host to the Jacksonville Icemen Friday at Germain Arena. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
