From 5-7 p.m. there will be live music and bounce houses for the kids!

About Tonight’s Game: The Icemen make their first ever appearance at Germain Arena this evening.  The Everblades have won three straight games and remain atop of the South Division with 23 points, just four points ahead of second place Greenville who has now won eight straight contests. .

About Last Night’s Game: The Everblades used six different goal scorers to defeat the Icemen by a 6-3 count at the Veterans Memorial Arena in downtown Jacksonville on Friday night. Florida limited the Icemen to just 16 shots on net, as goaltender Callum Booth collected his fifth win of the season.

About the Everblades:  Mitchell Heard leads the Everblades in scoring with 18 points (6g, 12a). Heard has registered a point in three straight games and has collected six points (1g, 5a) during this stretch…Both Michael Kirkpatrick and defenseman Gus Young are coming off four-point performances in Jacksonville last night...Goaltender Martin Ouellette will get the start in goal this evening for Florida.  Ouellette ranks sixth in the league with a 2.31 goals-against-average…The Everblades remain as one of the top defensive teams in the league with a 2.43 goals-against per-game average (2nd best in ECHL).

About the Icemen: Rookie forward Alexandre Goulet leads the Icemen in scoring with 14 points and a team best seven goals.  Directly behind Goulet is forward Emerson Clark who boasts 13 points along with a league high 75 penalty minutes…One area the Icemen will need to get going is on the power play, which no ranks 27th in the league at just 6.7-percent (3-for-45).

Saturday,  December 9, vs. Jacksonville, 7:30 p.m.  The Annual IBERIABANK Teddy Bear Toss!  It is one of the biggest games of the season.  Fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to the game to throw out onto the ice when the Everblades score their first goal.  All of the teddy bears will be rounded up and distributed to local children's charities for the holidays!
