About Tonight’s Game:  The Everblades will look to keep their hot start going this evening, against a hard-working Indy Fuel team. A key for Florida will be getting off to a faster start. Florida has only scored four goals in the opening period this season.  However, Florida has outscored its opponents 9-2 in the second period of games played.  Tonight, the Fuel will be looking for their first ever win against the Everblades. The ‘Blades hold a 4-0-0 mark all-time against Indy.

About Wednesday’s Game: Martin Ouellette made 27 saves, while Matt Berry scored a goal and logged an assist to lift the Everblades to a 3-1 victory over the Indy Fuel at Germain Arena.  Florida posted a season-high 44 shots in the game en route to their fifth consecutive win.

About the Everblades:  Michael Kirkpatrick extended his five-game point streak with a goal in Wednesday’s contest. In addition, forward Joe Cox is now tied with Kirkpatrick and  Mitchell Heard for the team lead in goals with three… Wednesday’s game marked the first time this season the Everblades failed to register a goal on the power play…Rookie netminder Callum Booth is expected to get the start this evening for Florida.  The ‘Blades defensively are first in the league with a 1.60 goals-against-per-game average.

About the Fuel:  Forward Cam Reid leads the Fuel in scoring with five points.  All five of Reid’s points have come via the power play…The Fuel’s penalty kill remains stingy, boasting a perfect 16-for-16 mark on the season…Tommy Olczyk scored Indy’s lone goal on Wednesday. Olczyk is the son of Eddie Olczyk who is currently a broadcaster for the Chicago Blackhawks and NBC Sports, and had a lengthy NHL career as a player and head coach...Despite suffering an injury to goaltender Matt Tomkins on Wednesday, the Fuel received goaltender Etienne Marcoux from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League (AHL).
