About the Everblades: Brendan O’Donnell is coming off his second two-goal performance of the series on Sunday, and is tied with Matt Berry and John McCarron for the team lead in points in this postseason with five…The Everblades have scored 7 of their 14 goals in the third period of games in the series....Florida will be without forward Mitchell Heard who will be serving the second game of a three-game suspension he received for his actions near the end of Saturday’s Game 4 in Orlando. Defenseman Jake Baker served his one-game suspension in Sunday’s Game 5.
About the Solar Bears: Chris Crane, Taylor Doherty and Denver Manderson enter tonight’s game tied in team scoring with six points apiece. Crane’s five assists leads the team and are one shy of a club playoff record held by defenseman Bryce Aneloski (currently with the Everblades) for career playoff assists with Orlando…Orlando’s goaltending situation will be determined closer to game time. Ryan Massa was absent from Sunday’s Game 5 with an undisclosed injury. Mitch Gillam started Game 5 and could potentially play tonight. However, the Solar Bears could also receive a goaltender from their American Hockey League affiliate the Toronto Marlies, or elect to sign a goaltender on an amateur tryout contract.
