Florida currently leads the overall series 16 points to 5 points.

Playoff Scenarios: Tonight the ‘Blades can clinch a playoff spot with a win or an overtime/shootout loss.  Essentially, Florida needs to collect a point in the standings this evening.   The ‘Blades can also clinch tonight with a Cincinnati loss at Alaska, or if South Carolina loses in regulation against Greenville (75 pts).   The Everblades enter tonight with a 12-point lead over second place Greenville.  The Solar Bears (69 pts) currently sit in the fourth and final playoff position in the division, but holds a slim two-point edge over fifth place South Carolina (67 pts).

Last Time Out:   Florida raced out to a fast 3-0 first period advantage, but the Solar Bears chipped away at the lead to pull within one early in the third period.  Orlando outshot the ‘Blades 12-3 in the final stanza, but goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic made several key saves down the stretch to preserve the 3-2 victory for Florida.
