Meanwhile Orlando (69 pts) sits in fourth, just one point behind third place Cincinnati (70 pts).

Last Time Out:   Brendan O’Donnell and Mitchell Heard each scored twice to help pace the Everblades to a 7-4 victory at Atlanta on Tuesday night to close out the road trip…On Sunday, Orlando dropped a 2-0 decision at home to the Utah Grizzlies.   The Solar Bears posted 39 shots in the game, but were stymied by Utah’s Ryan Faragher who earned the 39-save shutout.

About the Solar Bears:  Joe Perry leads the Solar Bears in scoring against the Everblades this season with seven points.  Perry also boasts a team best 30 goals this season…Just before last week’s trade deadline, the Solar Bears acquired high-scoring forward Justin Buzzeo from the Atlanta Gladiators.  Buzzeo has recorded 56 points (17g, 39a) on the year… Ryan Massa is expected to start in net for Orlando on Friday.

Saturday, March 18 vs. Orlando, 7:00 p.m. – Guns N Hoses night! Join us at 4:30 p.m. as our local fire fighters and police will battle it out on the ice!
