Everblades Announce Several Roster Moves on Wednesday

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Wednesday the following roster moves:

The Carolina Hurricanes have reassigned forward Clark Bishop has been reassigned to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The Hurricanes have also assigned goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic to the Everblades from Charlotte (AHL).

In addition, the Checkers have assigned forward Mitchell Heard (pictured above) to the Everblades.

As a result of today’s transactions, the Everblades have released goaltender Steve Racine.

Both Nedeljkovic and Heard are expected to be available for tonight's game against Utah.  Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.Upcoming Home Games & PromotionsFriday, March 17 vs. Orlando, 7:30 p.m. – 90's Night!  We are throwing it back to the 1990's, and fans are welcome to dress up in their 90's attire or as their favorite 90's character.   The first 500 fans will receive thunder sticks courtesy of Chuck-E-Cheese!

The Everblades will wear special police and fire fighter themed jerseys (pictured below) which will be auctioned off following the game to benefit the 4 The Kids Foundation.  A ticket to the Everblades game will get you in to the police and fire fighters game for free!
