The Everblades (60 pts) lead the division holding a ten-point edge on the second place Swamp Rabbits (50 pts), who currently edge South Carolina (49 pts) and Orlando (49 pts) by one point. The Swamp Rabbits will put their six-game unbeaten streak (5-0-1-0) on the line tonight.About the Everblades:  The Everblades have made a few roster moves this week.  The team acquired defenseman Jake Baker from the Quad City Mallards in exchange for defenseman Alexander Kuqali.  The 6-5, 225-pounder, Baker, was with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose at the time of the trade, but was assigned to Florida this morning and is expected to play tonight. The Everblades have also agreed to terms with forward Louis Belisle who has registered 23 points in 30 games played with Pensacola of the SPHL… Earlier this week, goaltender Daniel Altshuller returned from AHL Charlotte and is expected to start tonight.  With Altshuller starting, it will break up Anthony Peters’ stretch of starting 12 consecutive games. Peters posted an 8-3-1-0 mark during this mark which began on Dec. 31….Brendan O’Donnell leads Florida with a team best 27 goals and 50 points. O’Donnell is currently riding an 11-game point streak…Earlier today, Michael Kirkpatrick was named the AMI Gaphics/ECHL Plus Performer of the Month.  Kirkpatrick posted a league best +17 rating in January, and is currently leading the league overall with a +27 rating.
